You need to put a checek valve between the plenum and the pcv valve, the stock pcv valve doesnt keep boost out of the crankcase very well

I had the same thing happen when boosting the Vortech . I had a huge smoke cloud behind the car . Oil was all over the drivers side right behind the blower . It never did it again .

Just clean it up and makr sure the crank case is vented .

I had the same thing happen to me, but i have the stillen blower. I floored it for a little bit then the next thing you know i have a big cloud of burning oil smoke inside the cabin and the rear of the G. Luckily i was also a couple of blocks away from my house. I pulled up to my garage and quickly turned off the G. I looked under the car and there was a small pool of oil already. I waited couple of minutes, pulled out a flashlight, and i saw nothing wrong. Then i noticed that the oil leaking out looked to be coming out from the dipstick. I pushed the dipstick in to see if maybe it came out, and yes, the daym thing was not all the way in. I inhaled and exhaled to calm my self down relaxed cleaned the G and redid the oil change. Also chck your dipstick and make sure its not worn out from where it stays in place. Mine was, had to purchase a new 1.

sorry to bring back an old thread but would a dipstick that's not seated correctly cause a massive drop in oil pressure at idle? After it warmed up - I usually idle at like 15-30 and it read 0 (this is my nissan 300zx) and I turned it off and let it sit over night and checked the oil today and the dipstick was not seated all the way. Before I start it back up should I get an oil pressure tester and check the sending unit too?

No the dip stick being out will not cause your oil pressure to drop, if you have pressure when it is cold but not when your car is idling when warm/hot you gauge may be inaccurate? Does the pressure come up when you give the car a little rev(speeding up the oil pump) I would check the gauge first if you have oil pressure at all other times if the oil pump is shot you won't have oil pressure at all. At an idle when my car is warm/hot the oil pressure is low but always shows a reading.
