Gurgen,

You already answered about the smog checks here in Cali.
I have a few questions.

1. The do the smog check on the dyno at various speeds. Do you think it will pass ?

2. What about visual? My last smog failed coz my AEM intake didn't have CARB number on it. I'm pretty sure they would want to see some papers for the turbos.

Cops go nuts here in cali, I see more and more modded cars pulled over and cops sniffing under the hood.

Great numbers btw for 4.3psi. I can only dream of what VQ can do @ 16PSI.

Oh man... don't scare me like that. I am just scared of the cop-sniffing-under-the-hood scenario.

I do not know if it will pass smog, I will be trying that sometime soon, after i got the car dialed in.

Also, I have NEVER heard of the #1 point you made. I've never seen dynos for smoggers.

As for #2, lets cross that bridge when we get there.

Gurgen,

I don't know if they dynoed my car on inspection coz it was OBD1 but there was 96 Lincoln which they put on the dyno as well. I think it could have been OBD2.

Also to my concern about cops sniffing, there was a guy in NICO a couple of weeks ago who was selling header for 240sx coz cops made him take it off. FRICKING HEADER.

If not concerns for smog/cops, I would have kept my 240 for sure and boosted it with some big nasty turbo.

It has been a few days since I have heard anything about the TT.
What is going on? How is the boost and how is the TC treating you?
