helpp.. supercharger belt broke

the belt directly behind my blower snapped the other day i was driving.. not sure where to buy this...

is this it??

i currently have the 3.13 pulley.. if i upgrade to the 2.87 would the supercharger belt be the same?? or do i need to specify which belt i want to buy when im purschasing that belt?? if i wnated to upgrade to 2.87 pulley what all would i need??

Yes thats it . get the part number and search for a Gates belt dealer . They can be had for half that price . That place is charging you double for it .

u should try napa first to see if they carry it.

If you change to the 2.87 it will be the same. That belt only changes if you change out the cogged pulleys, not the serp pulley.

No forget NAPA. This happened to me last month, and they don't carry it at all. I had to order it online. I got two of them just incase this happens again, and I keep the extra one in my car.

If you are swapping from the 3.12 pulley to the 2.87 you would only need to replace the serp belt then!

those cogged gates belts are only $17 online. part # 600-8MGT-20 @motionindustries.com.

i bought 3 from my local motion industries shop

my belt came in.. im trying to put it on.. i took off the middle pulley that secures the belt in place so i can put my belt on.. but now it seems impossible to put that middle pulley back in.. what do i do???

the middle pulley as in the tensioner pulley... is that the pulley i need to take off in order to get the belt on?? i read on another thread to loosen the top pulley.. but thats connected to the serp pulley.. is that what i need to do??? thanks any help is appreciated.. i want to get my boost back!

You should only have to remove the middle pulley, wrap the belt around the two cog pulleys, and reinstall the middle pulley right over it.

yah it was easy.. i thought the belt had to go over the middle pulley but it goes underneathe it..

$17??? The cheapest on that site is 28 dollars.

call a local shop. when they order it it's like ~17. I paid $40 for 2 belts today (tax and shipping)
