I almost pulled the trigger on a kit a few weeks ago but had to fall back since I didn't have the total funds to have all the necessary work done

I'm getting closer and want to say thanks again for the jolt of inspiration
Thanks for the kind words buddy.

You are doing the right thing with your project...do not rush into and make sure you have all your bases covered. You will be there and I am positive you will have one sick G in the near future. I look forward to your near future build thread.

If it were my car (daily driver), I'd wait for the first or second oil change and checking the UOA to make sure they trend correctly. No need to rush with so much $$ spent on the build! Not sure how long it will take you though since you're only driving a couple days a week.

Looking forward to the final numbers

Good Luck!

Do you plan on doing 3.3 fd gears and maybe upgraded drive axels?

IMO, probably not needed for 275 or 285 rear tires since they can't really hook up that hard. DRs or significantly wider tires may up the need.

Thanks Terry. Oil checks out fine and I have already changed the oil twice. We changed it the day after we dyno'd. Per Cosworth's reccomendations we are not running synthetic oil for break in. We are running 20W-50 conventional motor oil for the first 1500-2000 miles. This allows everything to seat properly. After that it goes to synthetic.

I may change the fd gears at some point as well as upgrade the LSD, but the drive axels will remain stock.

Are you serious? I hate when people say stuff like that. How many threads like this do we even see with video let alone sound clips?

At least we get to hear what Mike's car sounds like. If you want a better look, hop on youtube or streetfire and search for more APS TT clips
