Trust me...it wasn't a trap. I witnessed the dyno, with prob 25 other Folks. Mike (AAM) told his Dad that he wasn't going to do the 3rd pull; could have blown my engine!!! In fact, Mike said had it been wintertime, I WOULD have "likely" blown my engine. It was about 80 degrees, but my body temp was hovering around 5,000,000!!!! I await AAM diagnosis. If need be, I'll tow that SOMBEECH to JE, in a heart beat!!!!

WTF, YO?!?!?!?!

maybe they f---ed the install on the fuel return and its not getting enough fuel, the utec could be bad or its a crappy tune

from my understanding he HAD a utec and then switch to just a uprev retune. Car sounded like doo doo, maybe it was slipping the clutch and just hoovering around 5k or something. Maybe the ecu was pulling alot of timing/cutting fuel. apparently it was knocking like a jahova's witness

Did he tune the Utec after putting in the new parts.

His old tune would be worth squat if he didn't tune for his new mods.

was retuned after mods, lost 50ish hp(different dyno also)

my vote for repair would be pfsupercars for retune(block away from AAM), hills garage for mechanical repairs. and ive had extensive work done at AAM and Function.

We'll figure it out.

Upon first look, Needs a tune adjustment, possibly something funky with the upgraded MAF going on as well.
So far pulled the plugs, Plugs shot, gapped incorrectly.

Gap is not that bad, just not what I would recommend. Plugs are simply shot from running WAY too lean.

its an auto

iriduims come pre gapped to .44

he's in good hands clint will get it figured out. imo its def. a tuning issues or fuel delivery issue(mechanical failure). with rfs and powerlevels he is more than adequately covered.

I'm not a fan of the uprev flash for fi at all, or really any setup. maybe he's fried his ecu. I hear with flashes they can go bad. when I fried my ecu and utec I ran into similar issues.

honestly I would throw the utec back in there and get a retune. unfortonatly tune, inspection, plug change and other jazz will be upwards of 1k before your out the door. but hell his cosworth plenum was more and atleast he will gain power from the fix.

^ Thanks.

Plugs were copper NGK3672, gapped to about 38 or so.

Pulling the plugs was just the first thing we did. I don't want it to be driven - and from the look of the plugs I'm glad we didn't.

Fresh set of LFR6A-11s are in and we'll finish looking over the rest of the vehicle later before we move on to looking at the maf/tune.

BTW, its a beautiful car. I'm looking forward to getting it up and running correctly.

I'll update when I have some info.

from my understanding he HAD a utec(put down 360sih), then when uprev came out with "the new hotness" the utec was ditched and rfs, cosworth, other supporting mods were installed and reflash was tuned. that is what a few customers from that tuner have done
