YES YES YES.

Make sure you have everything you need on your car when you get it tuned. Otherwise, you'll have to get it retuned if you make a change like that.

And yes, HFCs are required for FI. Your car will be running too rich to be able to use stock cats - they'll just get fouled up and clogged, plus if you have lots of miles on your car, you have no idea what condition they are in now anyways.

I had to choose between race pipes and HFCs and decided HFCs since i didn't want the raspiness of race pipes. I used Fast Intentions 300 Cell HFCs. Awesome! Just make sure to have them add an extra bung on each CAT. One for your A/F gauge (should you have one), and also one for your tuner so he can put one on for tuning. And make sure to have them install the bungs on the topside so you don't have the wideband sensor underneath where it can get damaged by condensation.

The vortech with the 3.12 pulley is about the limit for the stock G35 motor and will give about 10psi.

Who is going to do your tune?

If you don't have one yet, call Hok down at JTune Performance. He's much much more knowledgeable than me and will answer all your questions right over the phone regarding injectors, etc...
