I decided to do a full alum. 4" from the axle back and it weighs about 5lbs...im not using a muffler and the car is louder with the pipe than without the pipe =(. It sounds like a pro drag car at idle and WOT...and VERY annoying downshifting.

Snyper.....Vibrant has aluminum race muffers on the market now.......or you can make your own. I have seen a few on some of the drag racing forums. another option is to use v-band joints and mate up stainless mufferl to you aluminum exhaust tubing.

Amazing build. I am perched on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens at the track. I am assuming alot od the videos were killed due to "street racing"?

On youtube? Yes. I need to relax until the heat has died down. Its hard not to be noticed by the wrong group of people (oink oink) when you have a car like this..kinda sucks.
