Go with an APS extreme twin turbo kit... Good to hear your building the motor... Where do you plan on getting it done??? .... Also dont forget to get bigger injectors ... I Cant recall but i think there 440cc injectors that come with the kit just upgrade if you want to run more then 10 psi .... Most likely to get up to 600whp im sure you will be .

Why are you using all caps? Unless you are doing this yourself consult the shop you are using. They will direct you to what ems they are comfortable tuning, there experiences with certain kits etc...

The new APS extreme kit has crappy turbos now, also good luck getting anything from APS. I would look into the GTM kits or the Greddy 20g. You will need many supporting mods on either kit to crack the 600rwhp mark.

I agree...

Also...if you want a single setup.... Look up Boosted Performance... Well made. Intense has a nice setup also.

Remember ... A kit is only as good a the customer service.

Youre telling me a GT35R turbo is too small for our motors? lol...

Anyways the housing sizing can be changed to a 1.00 AR divided or 1.06 if you are worried about AR...

Anyways a .82 AR is fine.

These will and can get him to 600 and get him that lower RPM response that he is looking for.

You are very wrong. A T3 is way too small for the VQ if you wish to push anything past 400whp. I have a customer with a T4 .68 (about the same as a t3 1.06) and it was too small. His back pressure (measured and logged on the dyno) was more than twice the boost pressure. This was at about 525whp DJ. Once he upgraded to a T4 .81 the spool up rpm decreased and his IAT's went way down.

These small T3's are good for a stock VQ to about 400hp, and that is about it. Proven on the dyno, but not advertised because of sponsors and obviously money..

I use a T4 .58 a/r turbo for my turbo kits and that is about equivalent to the T3 .82a/r. Again, perfect for a stock VQ, but that is about it. The problem with the T3 .82 a/r is that there isn’t much room to go bigger, but with the T4, the .58a/r housing is the smallest you can get, so everything else is an improvement in flow.

If you change your mind and go single, get the T4 .81a/r 6765 PTE turbo. Should get you the 600whp no problem.

Hmmm, Ive been told by a few builders that that the gt35r and that one in particular should get me to 600 without issues. This was a guy who worked at reese tuning. I guess he is so used to working with evos with smaller motors he thought this would work in a single setup.

Stay away from those "builders" and "tuners" the VQ has a very high VE...and will push/need a ton of air.

It's funny how people think that if a GT35r makes 600 on a 1.8L honda motor, it will do the same on a 3.5L VQ.

Yeah well looking at Garrett also says 2.0 - 4.5L displacement is acceptable.
So I assumed its ok.
