I hate the look of the stillen hood as well but @ jutn35 ... Is there anyway of having something like a rain guard just to be on the safe side along the sides where theres the open area? Or is it really pointless? Again im a Nooobb When it comes to FI lol but its something ill definately be doing in the future.

there some advantages the twin screw stillen has over the vortech.
The twin screw is instant power vs the centrifigual sc with a little bit of lag. Driving a twin screw v6 is really like having a large NA v8 in terms of response and low end tq, so its better for daily driving and auto cross.
The vortech is better if you want all out hp and drag racing or highway racing.
You can squeeze out more power if you machine down the sc pulley on the stillen.

i actually like the sound of the stillen sc, i honestly think the vortech sounds a little like broken glass when you rev it. yeah, not a fan of stillen's hood options though. sounds like the stillen has what you're looking for, enjoy it. i like the HKS sc setup just because it's quiet compared to the vortech.
