So i got some gifts in the mail. I have everything to put the bottom end together now

I am going to measure the mains in the next day or two and order the bearings i need. Then i will be able to hopefully put the bottom end together in a day. Gotta have it finished before zday

Cleaned the block tonight to make sure there are no metal shavings left over from machining. Hopefully taking measurements tomorrow and will order bearings.

Got all the measurements done and ordered bearings today. Should take them about a week to get coated so once i get them the engine will be going together.

Not yet i am still waiting on the bearings. Everything takes so long to get. I am hoping that i will get the bearings this weekend and will have the engine together. We will see how it goes im really ready for it to be done.

4.0 i didnt want to go 4.2 because i would have to sleeve it and its my DD

I guess your stock motor is still in the car if its your DD?

I sold it after i had the car running but then the rings didnt seat. I wish i hadnt sold the engine because then i could be driving it and it is killing me not being able to. I am borrowing a friends tahoe that is his second car right now.

dang you've been using his tahoe for almost a year? thats a good friend. Prolly want to buy it from his as well as you arent gonna want to DD that G when you are done.
