I have a Vortec Super Charger on my 06 G35MT and I know they state to only use THEIR brand oil but here's my question, my brother had a Chrysler 300 SRT8 that we put a ProCharger Super Charger on basically same supercharger different brand and he has sold it but has 4 cases of oil for the unit. Can I use that oil in mine? It doesn't state on his bottle or mine what the weight is or anything about it. Are they not the same just different brand. Would hate to waste the oil since I have enough for the next 72K miles, but would hate even more to blow my SC. Thanks

i'd confirm the weight and not just assume that a blower is the same as the other. Functionality, they serve the same purpose, but how it does it internally might be a different story.
