I got all exhaust off and I have put in the first downpipe, crossover pipe, and the second downpipe. Now that my safety break is over back to work.

And bc of the game. It's been me for the last 4 hours. Some friends should be coming shortly.......hopefully lol

It's alright. I talked to a shop and they said they would weld me a y piece for 50 bucks

I'm almost there. Can't give up now. It just sucks having set backs. And noone to help. An extra pair of hands is always great. I trained my gf in tool language so she could at least hand me tools while under the car.

On the list:

1. Remove stripped bolt on turbo housing
2. Attach turbo to assembly
3. Run exhaust pipe from the turbo
4. Attach long Downpipe
5. Run ic piping
6. Double check all clamps and wires to make sure not touching hot pipe
7. Refill fluids and start engine

Good luck. Only advice I have is be careful. Double and triple check everything. Also, turn your car to run here and there to make sure your electrical things work.

Yes. Haha. I've been doing that. And I also did that to prime the fuel pump and injectors to make sure that we didn't have a gas leak anywhere.

I'm so stoked. All I do is think about this day and night. I have to finish so I can put my ac line before the turbo goes in. Bc once it's in it will be nearly impossible to get it in there.

And if you have the option to go water cool do it. It was super easy to do as well

Ya I have to do my ac line soon. I have a single turbo kit. I'm not looking forward to it to say the least.

A shop here locally is doing the line for me. They are charging me 60 bucks to add about a foot to my line. Then I'm going to wrap the sh&t out of it And install it. I'm lucky that my local college is vacuuming and recharging the G for free

Ok. So I got a little more work done. Went to advanced and bought this tool called right out. All it was was a drill bit to drill a hole In a stripped bolt. And then another bit to insert in the whole and drive out.

Well after drilling the whole. We tried to use the other bit and it broke. So I'm going to go tomorrow and buy th bigger one see if it works.

Also noticed I Was missing a vclamp. So I have to rush order one of those.

Finally put th intercooler up and started on each end with some pipping. Does it matter what pipes go where besides the really obvious ones???

I have to b up at 5 for work tomorrow so I'm about to shower and call it a night

Your making my head spin a little. We all want you to be successful, but you are DIY, and need to slow down a little. First off what do you mean by "Does it matter what pipes go where"? Obviously if there were IDENTICAL pieces, they would be interchangeable. This may be the case, Im not familiar with your kit, but you need to use common sense. Forget the whole "rush order", I realize you now see your missing a piece and you want to get it as soon as possible. What I'm saying is to take a step back, and maturely assess the situation, to prevent a catastrophic mishap. Your project may look very clean right now, we can't see it though, but based on some of the issues and language, I would say take your time.

Thanks for the concern. I understand its a DIY but its not rocket science. The pipes that I was asking about were the Ic piping. All the other pipes I got. And I've got both sides of the ic piping done I was just alittle confused on the I between pieces. I know one goes to the turbo. And the other ones behind my radiator fans. But I'm just scratching my head bc there's not much room behind those fans. Do I have to dremel out the fans support????

Also I'm not rushing. We are triple checking everything as we go. The deadline I had to meet was by las Sunday and it came and went. Now I'm just doing alittle bit of work everyday after work. But honestly should be done by the end of tomorrow if all keeps going smooth.

And shout out to shemi13 for all the tips and advise he's Been giving on the phone. Just wish you were alittle closer lol. And thanks to everyone who was had some input on this thread. It is taken seriously

On a not so serious not. CAN'T WAIT TO BE BOOSTED!!!!! Lol

Slim fans and lower profile rad? I don't have the same kit but the JWT is still pretty tight on the stock setup... Got loads of room in there now.

alright. so update. finally removed the stripped stud from the turbo housing. so thats done. i torched it pretty good and finally got it to spin.

turbo is in the car connected to oil pan and water lines. finally figured out the ic piping thanks to shemi so thats mapped out and will be done tomorrow. attached and ran my new ac line where i wanted it away from all hot pipes.

tomorrow i will run the two exhaust pipes i have left, tighten all v clamps, tighten all bolts, finish ic piping, refill fluids and hopefully get to start her up.

i also included some pictures of the progress as well. actually its only taking 1 for now

one thing i do work 12 hrs tomorrow so i might not have to much energy but hopefully acouple of monsters will do the job
