Alright guys. So after a week of working and going to school. The G is finally done. She even started on the first crank. I had a SES light come on but I was told that was normal until tune.

Today I will be double checking all the wires. Making sure they are not touching hot pipes, since we finished after dark we couldn't really see everything. If I have time today Im trying to find a weld shop around here to weld my exhaust. And also I'm going to have all my intercooler piping aluminum welded. Soon

Now all I have to worry about is my tune which will happen in the next few weeks.

The install isn't too bad. Being this was opmy first turbo install it took a little longer. We had to undo and re do a lot of things bc it would make it easier to do what we needed to do.

Thanks everyone for their in put and for hanging on for this wild ride. I can now say I'm a part of the boosted life

I know a guy that does aluminum welding and he's going to weld a few of them together. It's to prevent boots from popping off.

I have pics and videos going up tomorrow. I have all apple products and it won't let me update pics.

Today I had to re do my oil pan spacer bc it was leaking pretty bad. So I took care of that. Also tighten all the clamps and moved all the wires and sensors away from hot pipes. Also put her back together. And went for a test drive to advanced to buy more oil, gaskets, and rtv.

Right now the rtv is curing and tomorrow I'll fill her up with oil and bring her home.

For those of you wondering. You can drive a G with a turbo and 600cc injectors. It feels fine but since I have no exhaust I have no back pressure.

It may feel fine, but you don't want it to go "pop"...it only takes one time.

The couplers allow the piping to flex and move if you weld the pipes together they crack and break, that's why no one else welds them all together.

+1.

I'm rootin' for you OP...but you honestly are rushing it, per your knowledge level. I hope in the long run it turns out good for you, but some of your posts make me a bit skeptical

I gotcha. Ok. So no welding ic piping. Check. Today I'll be giving her some oil. And then I'm going to go to the exhaust shop tomorrow. I have an organic chemistry test coming up. So I'm putting off everything else until then.

So scratch that. I ordered a Osiris tuner version

It should be here hopefully by Thursday/Friday. And then ill be able to do a street tune with my wideband. All thanks to Shemi. Another awesome member here who deserves alot of credit for my build. He's been there anytime I've called or needed something.

I just got my exhaust welded up yesterday. She sounds sick nasty. And tomorrow I'm getting my ac done for the free at the local juco.
