Nitrous Help
I bought a NX Dry Kit.....I was thinking of starting off small with a little 35 shot and moving my way up in time. I also will be getting a MSD window switch. Is there anything else that I would need to run it safely. Also, my car is totally stock...Is that a problem???
A dry kit will work on our cars. A local member on my350z.com has a N/X dry kit. I believe they recommend getting the GenX accessory kit with your dry kit to run it safely. I believe it includes a window switch in the package. You will also need a TPS/WOT (throttle position sensor) switch if u got an auto. From what I understand it can be fatal to shift in MM mode with an auto w/o an TPS switch. I would also get a remote bottle opener as well as a bottle warmer. In total, look to spend about 1k, more/less depending on install. O, its also best to get 1 step colder plugs, I believe Iridium or copper, I dont believe you can use platinum plugs.

O, I believe the GenX also includes purge which in addition to being used for the track alot of people use to 'be cool'. However, IF in fact you do have a DRY kit, I have also read they are pretty tricky to tune and are not as safe as WET kits and a bit more risky and tedious. Requires injection through injectors and timing may need to be modified. I believe piggyback is also reqd, like Greddy eManage. I personally would go w/ a wet kit...but to each his own.
