If you want the real fix you need a radius rod to prevent the braket from flexing. Flexing loosens the belt alowing slip.

I don't have an issue with belt slippage. Note in my setup the COBB Tuning idler pulley I have in place to increase belt wrap on the jackshaft ribbed belt:

I want the belt tensioner so I don't have to mess with jacking up the car and remove the splash shield from underneath whenever I need to adjust the serpentine belt.

I also want the belt tensioner so I don't over tighten the serpentine belt and wipe out the jackshaft, idler pulley, powersteering pump, and alternator bearings.

Once you get to 15+psi you will need something to prevent the bracket from flexing.

I'm running my car over 15 PSI with a non-revup belt setup and my TM variable belt mod and I've never experienced blower pulley slip. I'm also running a 3.12" pulley (one size down).

I believe the people who say the bracket flexes and the timrod setup is awesome and all, however, I've never had a problem, and I beat the crap out of my car, the bushings are old as heck and worn out, and I"m pushing a crap ton of boost and RPM's from the blower.

So, there it is. Just my experience, nothing more nothing less.
