got the aps kit. i've heard for carb they test the car then come back in three months to see if the numbers are the same. if they are, eureka!!!! if not, then it's back to the drawing board. hopefully the kit will get through the first time and you guys won't have to worry bout the performance police.

I absolutely love my JWT turbo kit, and all of my JWT products for that matter. Almost 9 thousand miles now, and never a single problem. GREAT KIT!

It is possible that they will release a tuner kit without the CARB cert. I think that if they pass the test this time, that Jim will start selling the kits before that 3 month wait for the final approval that Bullitproof is talking about.

The install on these kits are about the same as various other kits, but with impeccable fitment. The psi and the particular mods vary from car to car, based on the individual customers needs and wants (usually from 7-14 psi)

+1 !!!

Originally I had my sights set on Stillen's SC - but I haven;t seen many people running it... plus ot doesn't have quite the HP & TQ that JWT apparently has.

JWT TT, Stillen SC, or wait till next year to see what '07 has in store?... Hmmm...

Two problems I have seen with the Stillen SC:

1. Doesn't respond well to other mods (often loses HP/Tq with other mods)

2. Ugly *** hood

I really need something with CARB cert as I don't particulary relish bribing a smog tech when I move back to San Diego.

Strictly coming from an opinion of someone who currently has both, the JWT TT kit and the Stillen (Eaton) S/C............

Although I am partial to the hood (I know, not a popular opinion ) The fact that it (the Stillen S/C) doesn't respond well to most other mods is for the most part true . We have worked long and hard to develop custom components for this type S/C, it is good for what it is, but as far as extracting MUCH more power from it, it has very limited potential. For what it is I actually like it, with the exception of some belt issues, it is a great plug and play power adder. IMO, I would rather have it over a ST system, but it is no TT system (apples & oranges)

I know it's true, I wouldn't have said it if I didn't think it was true... It is great by itself, from everything I have seen, heard, and read, but you can't do much else to it to iprove. Even as much as adding headers, or a free flow exhaust seems to have negative effects on a Stillen S/C system.

And the hood, well, whether you think it is good looking or ugly, either way it is definitely not stock, and I am going for a (mostly) stock look.

I am loving my JWT kit (carb or not) over 10,000 miles on it now. No problems at all!
