Guys,

Just wanted share that on Saturday I will become a new member of the F/I community. I decided to go with an ATI Procharger, Power Enterprise 380 injectors, TS Reflash and a Zeitronix Wideband O2 with all the sensors. Also, just bought a Stillen front fascia to go with it. We'll see what the car does on the dyno on Saturday. Wish me luck.

Welcome to the club. Just make sure you don't qualify for our club jackets, the blown FI club.... So far, it's pretty excusive to join...

I picked it up last night and my first reaction was Holy *#@&! It sounds like 747 engine under my hood and the difference is just overwhelming. Saturday is dyno day so let's see what she can do. We'll keep you posted

Congrats on your investment. I have the ATI with the TS reflash and a few other mods. Make sure your A/F is right, TS couldn't seem to se my injectors up correctly.

Oh, and I wear the jacket that Gurgen speaks of....

G - Don't ya mean "expensive" to join?? From what I hear, it's pretty easy to join. Of course, I'll be installing my Vortech in the next month or so - maybe I better not talk!!

Kevin,

Sorry about your loss. What was the reason for your SC failure? Do you have aftermarket exhaust manifolds?

Haha thanks for your condolances, but it was a LONG time ago actually, and I'm still driving on the blown motor (I think, I haven't touched the car since the beginning of december).

I have the complete Crawford package. If you want to know why my motor blew check out:

To see pics of the wreck check out:

Like I said before, the complete lack of TS to be able to set the duy cycle of my injectors was the absolute reason why my piston ring was damaged.

yes but do you have THREE stripes on the lapel of hta jacket, one for each bad engine... I hope the problem that is brewing here is not a cause for a FOURTH... Will report back soon, let's hope.

I know of each FI option and there numbers, but don't know the details as to why the Procharger was having more problems then others...I'm just surprised people are still buying and installing the Procharger after some of the horror stories...I'm sure theres probably some bad stories about vortech or greddy that we just may not know about, and I understand that with any FI application that proper tuning is key...I guess if your careful and do all the right tuning then everything should be fine...Kpierson do you still have the Procharger even after the blown motor? I'm just wondering if the problem has been fixed or if Draco- is taking a serious risk?

The main issue with the Procharger is timing. They offer NO timing retard, thus making tuning VERY important. If tuned properly the Procharger is as safe as a Vortech, and will produce more power.

The Procharger is hopefully coming off of my car this weekend, to make way for a TT kit that will be installed after my motor is built. I LOVE the looks and sound of the Procharger, but I'm in need of some serious boost.

Gurgen, its been THREE motors? I thought it was only two? Anyways, I wasn't trying to argue, EVERYONE knows you are the president of our little group!!!!!! haha

What TT kit are you going with after the engine rebuilt?
