Andy (chenga) got over 260whp on this particular dyno, on dynojet he was putting down ~240whp with the same mods.

So, are you saying that I am running roughly 10% less ponies on a DynoJet over a DynaPack? That would put me at about 345? HMMMMMM?

Here is the dyno from DJs car. My graphics are fuzzy on my laptop (it compresses graphics on download ) so I can't see exactly what is going on up top. Also, being in MPH instead of RPM makes it a bit more difficult.

Yeah, but if you read the dyno comparson I made in that post, Clint was just under 250rwhp on a comparable dynojet. Remember they DID dyno a stock G35 that day, so rather accurate comparisons can be made...

Neff, are you speaking to me, or K? I ask because I was there at the dyno...my car was one of the cars dyn'ed and I was the 4th highest pony NA G there that day. I'll have to DYNOJET my car to get the numbers everyone here wants to see. So far I've only DynaPAck'ed and Mustang Dyno'ed the car.

Randy,
You are leaving out a piece of rather important info there regarding the dyno figures you have. Those were measured on a DnaPack, while the others are referencing what sounds like DynoJet numbers. I know you are aware of this and there was a little off-topic on DynaPack a few posts above this, but I thought it's best I just clear it up here for those less informed. DynaPack figures are almost always higher than DynoJet figures. The particular unit from Church Automotive has a +6-8% factor over the typical DynoJet figure by my *very rough* calculation.

Btw ... my figure was 281hp on that day (not 271hp). For reference, a bone bone bone stock 6mt coupe the same dyno day measured 259hp. You managed 264hp (pre-Vortech).

Now steering back to the original topic. ATI ProChargers, not having any provision for igition retard, will most certainly make more power than a comparable Vortech setup that is properly tuned with some timing retard (via the Split-Spec piggy-back). Your (and David's) ~390hp Vortech figure at Church Automotive will probably be closer to 360hp on a DynoJet. That is a good number to sit on for good reliability IMHO on stock internals. Surely more could be had by dialing back more timing ... but you'd be about as lucky as most ProCharger folks then.

Yes, you are right. I did ASSUME that KP knew I was referring to my DynaPack dynop that I posted a while back. Anyway, I am interested to see what my car would throw down on a dynoJet now...guess I'll have to wait until I'm out in Texas to see.

with some type of timing control the ATI blower is capable of producing more HP that the Vortech blower . Reason being is the ATI can spin upwards of 80,000rpm and the Vortech is rated at 58,000rpm

Keep in mind though, that ATI only supports pullys up to 15psi (80,000 RPM = 22PSI I think). That is why I'm getting rid of mine, I don't want to mess with custom pullys.
