No no mods at all, zip, zero, zilch, I guess we at APS were extremely lucky with this intercoler design as it was designed on the Z car, the fact it fits the G35 so perfectly is just lady luck.

I belive this will depend very much on your driving style/conditions, if your talking about road conditions only I'd estimate at around 100F you would be wise to install a new bumper with a larger frontal opening.

On the other hand if you're talking about circuit racing and doing a number of hot/quick laps than I'd say that a new front bumper with a much larger frontal opening should be considered mandatory, maybe even a larger full flow engine oil cooler, this all depens on how long and frequently you retain the engine at full load/ high rpm conditions.

Thanks

Peter

If you get a chance could you post a picture of your ken Style bumper and CF hood? These parts would be interesting for me to view.

Many Thanks

Very true, If the cooler was finished in black you would be hard pressed to see the APS intercooler.

Ok so if I did a larger flow engine oil cooler with my stock bumper and didn't run on a track, based on my weather I should be ok, right?

I'd say there's a very high chance of gaining a CARB EO on the APS TT system, the stock Nissan cats are retained in the stock position and the engine emissions are extremely clean, APS hopes to test this system later on on 05.

What warranty are you referring to? sorry I have no knowledge on this issue at all.

stillen offers a warranty for their supercharger through Dell i believe, which covers engine and trans. parts.

Many thanks Damen and as you well know it's been a long journey with the APS Twin Turbo system to suit the G35, I should have some dyno results up on the APS web site within the next 24 hours.

Curently the power is just over 400 WHP though this does not demonstrate the real story, the G35 Twin Turbo system has awesome torque down low in the rpm range...............this awesome torque is what produces such an exciting ride and adrenalin rush.

By the way guys I should mention that this G35 coupe is owned by GRD in Chicago, many thanks to Tuan from GRD for shipping his G35 coupe down to Oz, without his kind generosity this G35 twin Turbo development would have been much more difficult, thanks again Tuan.

This will be up on the APS web site within the next 24 hours or so with plenty of other pics, how much Horse power would you'd like to see?

500 WHP is easy to achieve from the APS intercooled Twin Turbo system All of the hardware including the turbos and fuel system can support this power level though around 400 WHP is a much safer power level for a dead stock VQ engine.

Thanks

I'm sure this would be fine and the addition of a full flow engine oil cooler is an excellent idea, what fuel octane do you utilise in your state?

Thanks

Gee that looks absolutely awesome, thanks for that. The front bar would provide heaps of additional airflow, would be ideal for a G35 doing serious circuit race work.

The hood is very interesting also, should also help to reduce the under hood temperature, all good.

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

If possible can you post pics of the G35 engine bay and pics of the intercooler behind the bumper. I also need to know what you think the price should be and how long is the install if possible. Did you add your exhaust or anything extra to make 400hp or was the car completely stock? Thanks and I can't wait.
