Maybe I missed something but isn't a 12.1 A/F ratio at WOT a tad bit lean for FI? I thought most FI people have their cars tuned to around 11.5 A/F from about 4K rpms on at WOT.

Great numbers either way but I was just wondering.

After talking to experts I think you're right Baumer, 12:1 is right around where I'd want to be..heres the dyno.

Look at that TORQUE curve! you're going to have to learn to drive the G all over again. I guess we'll see how the KDWs do traction wise

lol honestly I am at a loss for words, I'm sitting here in disbelief. I'll have a much better review when it stops raining. For now the car just feels like a jet when I get on it.. every time I floor it my reaction is holy $#&@!!! It will take a minute to get used to, as baumer said its like getting used to the car all over again. So much more than I could have imagined.

And the KDW's are PERFECT, even when I lost traction in the rain it wasn't a complete loss, I could easily regain traction if the car started to get sideways. These are the only tires I will be purchasing from now on.

From what I understand the shop just sent the piggyback up to tuan and he took care of it from there. I think the APS kit is a little more flexible than some think, with five of the installs I've seen including mine, 3 easily made 400whp and above. If what I'm told is true then I can see how APS made 470whp on their G35 with minor tuning.
Actually, the A/F was perfect before we installed the test pipes and it was making around 389. With test pipes and Stillen catback the car made
444\385 but the A/F is all jacked up and the power curve is not clean at all.

As it turned out, the lean A/F was the result of a bad MAP sensor, so the tune that Tuan loaded was not the real sollution to the original lean condition. I do think Tuan's tune allowed enough headroom for the test pipes though.

400+ at the wheels is no problem with the APS kit if you have a good flowing exhaust and test pipes. The only problem is some cars we have seen go lean in the upper RPM's. Still not sure why Tony's is rich down low but we will clean that up when our Unichip software arrives.

Here you can see what I am talking about. After swapping out MAP sensors you can see Tuan's sexy A/F curve in red. Then after adding test pipes (blue), you can see that the Unichip needs a retune which should fix that ugly hump between 4 & 4.5k by pulling some fuel out of the map and pull the curve down between 5700 & 6500 by adding some fuel. The end result should have a flatter torque curve between 4000 and 5200.
