Hey tig, try putting an EBC back in and tweaking it. Maybe it was only the wastegate actuator that was the problem. You may be able to get better boost control and hold more boost at higher rpms. Just a thought. Post those numbers!

i honestly dont think APS setup the system so that you have to turn the actuator 10 turns to get it right, something is fishy.

id rather have the manual boost controller on it anyway so i can control the boost. plus i doubt the ebc can restrict the boost like the mbc can.

Tig, I would just change the actuator. Sounds like you got a bad one. You should be able to hold boost to redline as long as you have a good exhaust.
