Trust me...there will always be something that will raise the price that you will initially want to pay. Maybe you want more HP, you want some safety mods, etc. Once you boost...you will crave for more.

When I'm all said and done I think I'll be at around 6500 (Vortech full kit, install, tune, AEM Wideband A/F, Greddy Boost and Oil Pres Gauges).

I recently had the luxory of running against a local here with a stillen Stage 2 supercharged G. There was no comparison between me and him. I must have had at least 3 cars on him by ~ the 100 mph mark. That and the fact that i spent about 1/5 of what he did just made my day. Another Happy Nitrous Express Customer here!!

lol. i love programming logic.

right now, car is receiving a new forged transplant.

7.5k - APS TT
0.5k - hardware, tools, and food/booze for install
1.0k - Tilton Street twin clutch assy (destroyed it)
0.4k - install for clutch...
1.0k - Tilton Semi-Street twin clutch overhaul pack (destroyed that too)
0.4k - install for clutch...
1.0k - RPS clutch with JWT flywheel
0.4k - install for clutch... again. (moral of story: stick to street clutches)
8.5k - forged internals plus lots and lots of labor!!!
0.5k - new tune

21k. holy crap. 500+ rwhp better be worth it.

$24k and counting...

GReddy TT w/ FMIC
ATS 1350kg Twin Plate Carbon Clutch and Flywheel
Custom 3" Open Dump Turbo Downpipes
Custom 3" Full Exhaust
AAM Stage I Fuel Return System w/ 650cc Injectors
AAM Angled Plenum Spacer
Turbo XS UTEC w/ Tuner Reg, Map Sensor, and Map Selector
HKS SSQV BOV
HKS EVC Boost Controller / GReddy Warning Gauges
HKS Turbo Timer

Installed and tuned by Altered Atmosphere Motorsports in Gaithersburg, MD

465rwhp and 410 torque

Looking at larger injectors for a bump to over 500rwhp and 440 torque for less than $600.

So...... the total $/hp would be $87/1

And I've still got to get the brakes done!!! LOL, then I cry...

I've never chimed in on this thread because I kind of fall into a different category as far as money spent for going FI...

I bought my car with FI (Vortech) pre-installed along with all of the rest of the mods on the car (see signature). Before I bought my current car I was the owner of a Laser Red 2004 G35 coupe 6MT that I bought new in January 2004 (ordered and waited 3 months). I had to sell the red (stock) G before buying my current G.

In the end, I sold my stock '04 G with 16k miles and for $2500 more than the sales price on my red G I bought my current G with 32k miles and all the mods you see in my sig. Needless to say I am a VERY happy camper
