would a safc 2 be sufficient in tuning a Turbonetics ST kit w/ the ecu reflash? Not looking to squeeze out more HP (would be nice though) but more just for safety measure and smoothing out whatever need be. Sorry, not a very technical guy . Of course tuning would be done by a reputable shop.

 

i dunno bout that, u'll be better off w/ either a GReddy EU or UTEC

 

how about a emanage blue? would that be okay. I know ultimate would be choice but i seen a blue for a really good price.

 

The Blue would be OK but you could also wait for Stage 1.5 from Turbonetics which will have a tuneable EMS

 

That will work, but you will defiantely need to get all or most of the optional harnesses to make it worth while.

 

any word on when turbonetics is planning to release the 1.5?

 

I was planning on using a SAFC before, it will work, but you won't be able to control other things that you reallly need to. For tuning in a turbo kit on a car not meant for a turbo, you really need a whole new ems....
