So after searching 8 pages of threads with these words I found two things..........jack & $H1T!

Needless to say there was zero information on what temperatures should be of concern to you. Yes I realize that the temps you see are going vary widely depending on where you've got your sensor mounted.

So for those running exhaust gas temperature gauges;
1. What kind of temperatures are you seeing with your FI setup (& where is your EGT sensor mounted)?
2. At what point would you get worried that the temperatures are too high?

Your help is much appreciated.

I see up to 1600F, but it usually hoovers around 1450F or so. My EGT sensor is mounted about 2" from the exhaust port on the driver's side (on the APS manifold). See: http://www.science.uottawa.ca/~paul/.../G35TT088.html

Cool, thanks man. I may be PM-ing you with questions in the future. I just got my APS TT back and I'm just getting used to it.

No problem. I also forgot to mention that I have the APS TT with a stock exhaust (not for long anymore).

Good luck,

Did you ever get your car dyno-ed by any chance?

I ended up going with the APS true dual. Unless you are right up close it's really difficult to tell it's not stock.

The EGT probe I had tapped in my Supra was in the manifold...I believe some ppl tap the downpipe but I don't think it's as accurate.
