APS TT Vs. Vortech
What's wrong with a single turbo???
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, my cousin made nearly 60k last year just selling cell phones for cingular, and that's out in the boonies in Deltona.
Get a Vortech, APS will make you want to spend more and more and more... at least the Vortech is limit you to 450ish max. Its just a bad cycle. Besides, all those guys on here with 500+ on here are nuts....

Man you guys really know how to bring a brother down. My friend Nick, no college degree made over 60K two years in a row as a salesman for ABC Warehouse, and ME, I have no college education and barely made it out of high school, I made 82k in 05, and this year projecting to make well over 100k as an insurance salesman, so if he says he'll make that much, I believe him, given he is a hard worker.
oh and check out http://www.ssrengineering.com, they have an awesome Twin-tubo, twin-intercooler that works great with the G35 front bumper, and makes 402rwhp at 6.4psi with their manifold.
wow what kind of jobs are these....highschoolers getting these jobs...im in highschool and would love to make that much...and i work hard.....gimme some ideas man.....o0o and the APS TT is pretty good i have done a lot of research....but i am thinkin the JWT TT is better. absolutely no turbo lag....and performed the best in the forced induction shoot out in sport Z magazine
With the Vortech the kit itself can be found for $5000 or less. Installation for a Vortech system is trivial compared to any turbo installation IMHO... Remove front bumper, run FMIC piping, install engine mounting plate with supercharger and pulleys, tighten belt, install FMU and SS box and that's basically it. A good shop will probably charge around $1000 for installation and then you will need it tuned.
As with any turbo kit, you will want to spend some money upgrading your exhaust. With Vortech this won't necessarily increase your horsepower by itself but it will lower your plenum boost pressure providing a safer tune. You could immediately upgrade to a smaller pulley to get back to stock boost and make more power. I would also recommend a plenum spacer as it is a great mod to add hp.
In the end you are going to have to decide what you really want more as far as turbo vs. supercharged goes. APS TT will give you very large potential to make big hp but you will have to build the motor internals to withstand the higher boost. Vortech will provide you with solid hp up to about 450 at the wheels but with a little less torque. In the end I would say that the Vortech will cost you a lot less.
