I am in the process of buying Randys_G, some of you might know it ... Vortech S/C at 6psi and he averages around 19 - 23. About the same if not better than what I get on my current stock G.

Gas mileage is about the same as long as you're not boosting all over town. BTW, Randy's kit has the stock 3.33 pulley and it boosts at a very safe 8 psi if I'm not mistaken.
When you get it, swap out that pulley to the 2.87 and hit 10+ psi and rage on that animal. It's been begging for that pulley since day one.

Hey Doc, from what he told me he is only pushing 6psi. Before he went with the Vortech he had already installed a true dual exhaust with high-flow cats. The Vortech system is designed to boost a stock G setup which means that the backpressure from the stock exhaust is taken into account.
I think the 366+ hp to the wheels will do me just fine after 2 years in my stock G. But then again, you never know

BeerViper do you mean that if i installed Fujitsubo Exhaust with Y pipe the Vortech will perform well on it since its same settings as stock (not dual) ?

^^What he said.
Randys_G is using the stock 3.33 pully which is rated at 8psi. With the free flowing exhaust it is technically losing 2 psi although it is still putting down 366 rwhp and 300 rwtq. Essentially what it means is that you're still acheiving the same power output with a safer setup (less boost).
This is the way I understand it at least
I'm sure I will keep learning a lot more once I take delivery of Randy's G

I get 21.2 miles per gallon on the Vortech and I boost between 9.5 -10psi on the 3.12 pulley, I also have the fuji exhaust and y pipe and I also put down 420awhp.
I lost about 1.3 miles per gallon after the install.
