i finally when to the dyno today. i have a ip g35 coupe with pe tt running 9 p.s.i. i put 382.6 hp and 324.9 tq to the wheels. what do think about that. also on the way home a new vette pull up along side of me. light turn green and he punched it so i'm play catch up off the get go, by the time i hit 3rd he was gone. i passed him and pumped on him a couple of times and then he gave up. one for me

 

nice that just makes g35 have a better rep.... we need more G's like yours and 380 with 320 is f ing great

 

So when you mean he was gone that he actually gone far away in front of you or gone way behind you? then you said you passed him and rev, so he was upfront then So when he gave up how is it you won? ....

 

no he had about 1 1/2 cars in front from the start. i was gaining on him, shifting into three i passed him. then i pump the gas on him, he couldn't catch up to me. he gave up and turn on the next street. does that help you out.

 

Sounds alot like the "ricer-flyby"...where the other opponent doesn't even know that you're racing him. hahaha

 

It's really hard to tell, when i race and after i shift to 3rd and I'm still 2-3 car a head i usually shutdown coz there's no point continuing and taking a chance getting a ticket. For me if my opponent is not close to me by 3rd then there's no point. just my .02. Maybe he did shutdown coz he need to exit.


by the way nice setup, I'm just waiting for TN to release their kit for the Revup motor and I'll join you guys....

Congrats! What dyno was this on? At 9psi, I thought you'd be a little higher. Are you tuned yet?

 

It wouldn't surprise me that he beat a new vette. If it was a new Z06 then it may have been different. But a good buddy of mine drive C6 vette and I run him ragged. So those are definately cars I would put in there place more often, they think they are all that and then get run into the ground by a G......fun times. Your next race needs to be an STI or an EVO from a dead stop cuz they think their AWD will be enough to beat a G, but then you ctach them and pass them cuz they only have 300 horses and you have over 500 at the crank. Those guys think they are the end all be all of the import scene. Another fun one will be the first modified SRT-4 that tries to run you on the highway with its really loud BOV like it is the sh** you waste him and he leaves. Good times.....Oh the fun things you can do when you're boosted.

 

Man I know how it feels, last month I was surrounded by 3 SRT and a WRX and they were noisy as hell!! I hate those BOV, they are loud and there were heavy traffic so I have no choice but to listen to them. I tried to gun it and see what the MREV can do but there wasn't enough space...

They think they are the ****!! Can't wait for TN to release their Revup kit...

nice.............saving some money for the Turbonetics 1.5 kit......should be around 400 to the wheels right out of the box.......it'll be nicer when them sports cars get taken from a oem looking black sedan.......(a little voice in my head......."need to sell a few more homes"
