Calling all G's with Nitrous. Please discuss your experiences with the kit, (what type, how much h.p., etc.) I would appreciate any pros and cons from people with kits currently installed.

One kit that comes to mind is the Zex kit. Not sure if this was an isolated case but one 350Z user of their Nitrous kit had major problems. However on another note, a user over on my350z.com had a 350Z that ran fine on a Zex kit. I believe the HP gain was "minimal" (in quotes not because it didnt add any HP but rather because nitrous raises torque more than HP, I believe) but the torque increased by a LOT. Also, it might help if you specified if you are planning to go with a wet or dry setup.

Dosen't NOS leave a white residue on your engine insides. That could kill your car.

What white residue? I've never heard of or seen this.

 

I remember talking to G35Girlie one Sunday night when we were meeting up in this parking lot. She said that NOS leaves a white residue on the insides of your engine.

I've used N20 for years and have never seen this. Whatever white residue she saw was not left by nitrous.

There's an all-import event at one of the area 1/4 mile tracks on Sunday, September 7. I know of one other spraying G driver who is planning on being there. I've ordered some new wheels and may get some BFG Drag Radials to compliment them...If nothing happens along the way, I plan on being there. Perhaps you could join us?

 

I'm being told to only go with a 75hp kit to begin with from the installer because of the desert climate. Any ideas.... I want the 125 shot badly!

 

I'll see what I'm doing, That's a 4hr drive for me. If I came down I would want to have a NOS kit so you can show me how to install it. I really am uncomfortable doing it myself.
