JEsite does not have info on the swap yet but if you go to turbo magazine's site, call and try to order a back issue, it was a January issue.
I bought it and let me say it is one of the if not the most cleanest RB swaps period, 350Z, 240sx, 280Z...etc

I have been thinking about the swap as well, even contacted JE about sponsorship, but I'm thinking of trying to straight up trade my Z for a G

Yes it has been done. In Turbo Magazine the November 06 or December 06 Issue they have a BS G35 Coupe w/ an RB26DETT it has sweet looking Volk GT-V's on there as well I believe. Look into the issue its a sweet car, makes near 600whp I think on a mild boost.

personally, I prefer ford V8s over chevys, but I agree with you on this.....for the physical size of the engine, you can't beat the power output. A pushrod V8 is so compact.

The GT-V look crazy 10" on the front 12" wide on the back. I am not into the JDM tire strech thing personally he is running 255s on 12" wide rims but if you has tires that fit properly they would stick out of the frnder over an inch .

 

that is a bad look, isn't it. IIRC, minitruckers were int that look about 15 years ago. Of course, they were doing it on 15" diameter wheels then. They would stretch a skinny 195 tire over a 15X8" wheel.

 

i live in miami and i know this guy did it in red 350z
job was done by drag international..i heard.... it was like...a year ago...
first.. he just dropped in da rb26 for.. 30g and he wanst satisfied(?) and he spent 30g more to fully(?) built lol... but i hope JE swap kit will be recenable price hahahahhaa^^
by the way.... anyone knows when are they coming with the swap kit??

 

they company je performance you are refering too is located about 10 mins from my house..james the owner and nissan tuner guru did a rb 26 turbo motor swap in this grey g35 you are talking about..i've seen the car in person several times and its just plain sick..it puts down around 655whp the volks with tires on this car stick out about 1 and 1/2" pass the fender wells ...iv'e talked to him on several ocassions about this swap kit..he did in deed said it was hard to do and would cost the normal joe.with him providing the engine around 10 to 20k the pros to this is that the motor can handle alot more boost due to the compression and internals vrs the vq engine we have according to james.if you guys would like some pics of this i could take some for all of you and post them on here..he also has a sick *** top secert wide body g35 that hes done some work too..<one of my fav cars he has there>
