GTR update
I think the 30K markup is bullsh*t. If Nissan wants to actually get these GT-R's off a lot, theyll maybe go 2%-4% above MSRP at the most. In all honesty, I just cant wait till I see one of these animals on the road, I think I may very well sh*t my pants inside my car while drooling at it from a traffic light.
I am so glad that I got tired of waiting for this car and got an M5 instead. For one, I would never pay that for a Nissan badged car and secondly, there are quite a few cars in this price range that would be a more sensible purchase. I know there is an interest for this car here but mostly among young drivers that cannot likely afford the sticker. I would get a Z06 before this car any day and the Z06 would kill it, any time, anywhere. I am not sure if Nissan have their heads straight on this one. We'll see.
You are right about that telegramsam, Z06 before this anyday...
but i think pricing will be more like 40k for G35, 50k for G45 or whatever they name it and 60k for GTR, loaded @ about 65k even thought it is close to Z06 pricing there is enough price gap, Z06 is base @ 70K and loaded @ about 75-77K..

There's no doubt in my mind there will be at least $10k-$20k markup on the first production run of GT-R's... Personaly Im just going to wait and get the 2nd year model, they should have most of the kinks worked out of it by then plus the price should drop back down to MRSP once all the big spenders buy there's at the markup prices..
If the GT-R is $100-110k I don't think it will sell at all, like most of the other posters have said, there are many mor sensible cars to buy in that price range... a 110k Nissan serviced by a nissan tech, no thank you.

I seriously doubt it will cost that much, figure if the MRSP is $60k then you might see a marked up GT-R selling for $70k-$75k, but these higher prices will only be for probably the first 6 months and then they should drop down to MRSP once all the high rollers buy theres..

u people are so dumb.. Rs4 has liek a 5000 price markup and thats it and those are cars that have to be ordered from the factory. No dealer will ever have one on their lot. No NIssan will ever be 110,000. Give me a break, its most likely going to be 65-70k at best. No 30-50 yr old man or women is going to pay 110k for a nissan, The GTR and Rs4 and M3 are all aimed at young men 20-27 who have the dough to spend on it. And if you think that kids in that age bracket dont have money like that your sadly mistaken. Most kids who get out of college make over 50k and still live at home with minimum expenses a 65k car for them to lease or finance is nothing to them.
^^i know your not talking to me, saying keep flipping burgers at mcdonalds.
