GTR update
From a reliable source (actually a friend that works for Nissan and a dealership) The new GTR 2008-2009 production run will have 800 cars shipped to the US. My friend/dealership will receive only 1 and it will list for $80,000.00. Now that being said, the dealership across the US will put a $100-$110,000.00 price tag on it due to the limited availability. Also there presently one dealership in California that is attempting to purchase the majority of cars (500). Just what I heard, take it with a grain of salt, time will tell.

Highly unlikely one dealership would be allowed that kind of allotment if those numbers are anywhere close to being true.

For that price tag, you'll find me in a Porsche GT3 instead of the Skyline. If I can actually spit out 110k when it finally arrive here in US.
GT-R is always been a mass produced super car in Japan and I don't believe it'll ever be changed as there isn't any car in Japan that fit the legendary king of the road status other then the king GT-R itself. I won't mind they made a V-spec to be priced at $80k ~ $110k but it'll need to have the performance to out gun a Porsche GT3. Otherwise it'll just be a over priced piece of crap.

I highly doubt that that one dealership will get that many cars. It's absurd for one dealer to get that many cars. I believe the car will have a premium but to list it at a $20k to $30k premium...is something that NISSAN will not get. The SL55 when it first came out got a $30k premium. The GTR is not in the same league...and like aforementioned...if the car is $110,000.00 then what makes the GTR better than a Porsche GT3, Aston Martin DB9, BMW M6, Maserati Gran Sport, etc. etc. etc.
