Did anyone reviewed the G25 as yet? This car should easily win a comparison at its level.
But those mpg numbers are dissapointing, i was expecting better since it is matted to the 7 speed.

I know this car is aiming at a different crowd but I'd rather have a new base maxima.

Yeah the 2011's G25 are out, they have been at the dealers for more than a week now. Over in the MyG37.com forum, there is someone there that has one and seems very happy with the underpowered engine.

The motor only has VVT and not VVEL. Chances are there are parts that are interchaneble between the VQ35DE and this 2.5. Also curb weight is 3,534 which is okay.

Engine

2.5-liter (2,496cc) 24-valve V6 engine, aluminum-alloy block and heads. Resin-coated pistons

Valvetrain

Double overhead camshaft (DOHC), 4 valves per cylinder with microfinished camshafts. Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) optimizes opening of intake and exhaust valves.

Fuel Economy

EPA Estimated Fuel Economy (mpg)[*] (city/highway)

20/29

20/29

19/27
Horsepower

218 hp @ 6,400 rpm

Torque

187 lb-ft @ 4,800 rpm

Hey Tim, at your dealership, are there many people buying the new M's?

To be honest, most of the cars move quickly. I guess it's because we're in the middle of a major metro area. Millions of people in the DFW-Metroplex.

Are you serious?

Do you really give a $hit if someone debadges their car? Does it somehow kill the value or enjoyment received from your car?

For the life of me I can't understand this mentality...

If they did, they better not buy a G35 either.

Anyone wrecked one yet? The engine would be great to stick in my 240SX race car, since I have to run a sub 3.0L engine sold in North America, and that only leaves me with a KA or VG or L series.. all ancient. Would be nice to have a modern powertrain that puts down more power stock than the KA can with a $10,000 build..
