I will have to through a little support the direction of RR from Florida, hate to go against my fellow east coast friend but I understand what RR is talking about. By bringing this car out with the exact same body style does it not reduce the resale value of a G35. The though being that some may think "why buy a used G35 when I can get a new G25 for the same price". I also agree that the G35 is known to be one of the faster stock cars on the road amongst car enthusiasts. It would be nice if the G25 had a slightly different body style justto make it different form the G35

If you read the entire thread you would understand. RR has indicated that the G25 will belittle our cars and I am partially agreeing in the sense that the cheaper G25 will potentially depreciate G35\7.

all it is going to do is stop people who don't care about 330hp from buying a car with more power then they will even use and wasting gas. there will just be less g37s now, it will be like the is250 and is350. If anything it makes the G37 more exclusive.

Any new info on this 25 yet? The info my sister got from the dealer has no gas mileage specs. I hope it's not going to be a pig, but with the 7 spd. trans hope it will have enough go. The dealer says it "expects" the mileage to be about 1 mpg better than the G 37, that's not real appealing. I have pages of info on the car but no 0 to 60 times. If anyone gets new info please forward it to me, thanks! Jim

I wouldn't call a mass production car in the 35-40k price range exclusive in any sense of the word, especially when comparing it to the G25 with an msrp of 30-36k. To me exclusivity requires a much higher msrp and much lower production numbers.

I mean the road won't be littered with G37s the way it was littered with G35s. Used to be when you drove around on long island you would see nothing but G35s, IS250s and 325/328s. Every now and then you would see a 335 or IS350 mixed in....the G37 will become like that. Housewives who want infiniti's will have G25s now...although I dont get why they dont offer it with AWD

Infiniti mixing with AMG is a bad idea. You guys have no idea how poor quality the AMG is.

That's going to suck if they do make the merge.
