FX wont start!!! help!

hi my dads got a 07 FX35 and it wont start. its not the battery cuz all the lights come on. its got plenty of gas in there cuz he just filled it up couple days ago. i turn the ignition and all i hear is tick tick tick tick tick really fast! i don't hear da engine turning. so what do i do in this situation? do i call a towing truck? would infiniti re-reimburse the towing truck money? id really appreciate some suggestions here! thanx!

LOL at the tow truck comment. If you own an Infiniti, you have complimentary road side assistance. AKA, they will come to your house and take the truck to the nearest dealer for free of charge. Call Infiniti Roadside

It sounds like the battery...it probably has enough juice to turn the lights on etc, just not enough to crank it over. Jump it!

Its your battery. Even if the lights come on, it doesn't have enough juice to crank the engine. infiniti service is free. Call them, they will take care of everything.

This happened to me twice and I don't believe it's the battery. What I did was take out the manual key from the iKey and stuck it in ignition and it worked. The 2nd time this happened, I just waited 30 mints and it worked. I think you might have triggered the security thingy with the key.

It sound like is the battery, same problem with my fx35 few days ago. I went to local shop and they test the battery and alternator and the battery was bad.

A guy on infinitiscene had to replace his starter recently. I've replaced mine since new as well.
