Pressure Washer Owned My G

So its my first time using the pressure washer to wash my car. And this happened. So the question is, am I stupid that i used pressure washer to wash the G? or this is not supposed to happen? and can i complain to infiniti about this?

i feel

p.s sorry about the size of the photo. I dont know how to resize it =(

*updated*

Went to the dealership, and I told them that i was just using the hose to spray my car and they pretty much said that sometimes if i get a light scratch, but not enough so that the paint comes off, air bubble could get caught under the paint, thus causing the paint coming off =(. And they kept on saying its a scratch. I am pretty sure they think i m lying =/...

o well...what solutions are there?

lol man, PRESSURE washer + soft paint = sole complaint to yourself, not infiniti. My power washers rips the siding off my house..if i was to ever use it on my G itd be from 20 feet away on a wide spray...
better get some touch up paint

I use one all the time with no problems. That looks like a problem with the paint/clear. Not sure what the finish warranty is on the G but it might be worth it to see.

if your going to use a pressure washer, before you lay it into your car, run your hand under it. if its hurts, youre either a girl or the pressure is up too high, and your G wont like it either.

I use a pressure washer as well sometimes without any problems. You should bring the car back to Inifini and put in a claim for it, but do not tell them you used a pressure washer or they'll simply refuse to fix it under warranty.

How narrow was the stream of water? I've used a power washer with no resulting damage. You have to set the water to come out in a wide spray pattern and not hold it too close to the car.

Good luck getting this covered by Infiniti.

Doesn't surprise me... Infiniti's paint is the worst in the world... I won't even get into it... I just might puke....

Good Luck man!

Depends on what you're using for a nozzle.

Was this at a pressure wash car wash place? Or did you buy / rent one?

If it was at a commercial car wash location, you might have a legit complaint to Infiniti.

But if it was one you're using yourself, you're screwed. I used a friend's washer to blast off the paint off of my cement stairs in front of my house. The nozzle that was on there started slicing right through the concrete, and there was still one more attachment that was more powerful I didnt dare dry. That surely would have sliced right through the body panels on any car.

Why are you using a power washer? The only thing I use like that is for spraying down my engine, since Im too lazy to scrub it, I spray cleaner on and spray it off, but that only at a commercial car wash place. There really isnt much power behind those anyways...
