PLEASE check w/ your dealers, Infiniti screwed up my 7yr 100k certified warranty

I don't know how many fall into this category but I just found out that Infiniti screwed up my 7yr 100k mile certified warranty when they switched to the new warranty in June, so probably many others are screwed up too and don't know it yet. The dealer says that they lumped me in with the new warranty program when I bought my car in April of 2004. He says I am the first to call but that they probably did this to everybody by accident (or not). But that people would never know unless their dealer happens to mention that their warranty is expiring sooner than they thought, 2.5 years early in my case. The new certified warranty is 3 years or 100k miles from the date of purchase instead of 7 yr 100k miles from original service date like I bought. Just call your dealer to check or call Infiniti at 1800-662-6200 and ask them when your warranty expires. If it is wrong, call you dealer and explain to them about the change and hopefully they or you still have the warranty booklet because mine said Infiniti may need to see it to get the dates fixed.

He says the guy at Infiniti is trying right now to get it straightened out, so we'll see. I'll be writing some letters soon if they don't get it fixed.
