Jack failed.
Is the jack covered under warranty?
I had the rear end up b/c I was going to put on the splash guards and the jack bent as I was lifting the car. It was on the notches and it was on a level surface. God thing I hadn't taken the tire off yet. I could only lower it a few inches b.c of the bend and had to knock it out after I retightened the lugs.

Get a hydraulic low-profile floor jack....make sure it is a low-profile one!

The stock jack really sucks.Mine broke as well.It is not an issue of using jack stands.Because it fails when you are raising the car, before you can even use the jack stands.I was in my garage on level flat groud when it happened.I do have 3 ton floor jack, but with my car lowered & side skirts it makes it harder to use.using the stock jack is quicker. Now I use the jack from my Accord,it is a lot stronger.
