Thinking of buying soon...

Hi, I've been following a lot of the online sites about the G35, and I've been wanting one since 2003. Finally, I can get it now on my own since I didn't want anyone helping me out in paying for it!

Well, there were a lot of questions that I did have. To begin with, it's about the packages that come.

I am looking at a Black Exterior / Black Interior or a Red Edterior / Black Interior 6MT Coupe.

The packages are the tough part.

The Premium Package - 2850: Features I like are the Bluetooth, anti-glare rearview mirror, eight speakers, cd player with mp3, sunroof, power tilt steering, etc. So in other words, it's probably worth getting this I believe.

Aero Package: I dont mind the 06 spoiler like some people do, so I think this is good.

Rear Active Steer Package - Now is this worth the 750? What exactly is this? I'm going to be driving this in PA mostly, and snow can be a b*tch. Dunno if this has anything releated to that or not.

I plan on getting some work done after-market wise.

These are some of the things I am thinking of getting, but I have no clue about how much it will cost for the goods and labor. Nor do I even know where they will do this in Harrisburg or Philly.

- Front Grill
- The Fog Lights on the bottom front bumper
- 19' or 20' RIMS (black or chrome)
- I want the car to be lower, but not too low since PA is all mountains and crap.
- I'd like to change the inside Orange LEDs to Blue
- An inside trim on the dash as well as the doors (wood or something)

I just wish I knew how much these would cost. I've been wanting to wait for the next-gen coupe, but I need to get rid of my stupid Focus.

Thanks.

According to a Nissan Engineer buddy of mines, the 07' coupe won't have any significant change to them. The 07' sedans on the other hand are coming out with some features that are a must have.

btw...welcome to the forum!

I got the Rear active steering on my '06. I haven't driven one without it...so I don't know if it was worth it or not really. But I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the snow.

any input on after-market costs such as lowering the car and maybe body kits? any sites i can look at?

i am just trying to get in the idea of putting some aftermarket customization as long as i dont cheapen the look and make it a rice car....i hate those damn cars!

www.everythingg35.com and www.mynismo.com are my 2 favorite sites so far.

Get some nice tinted windows, clear corners, and if you want performance too start off with the Stillen CAI + Z-Tube followed by a Motordyne 5/16" spacer with MREV2.

Well, those are my plans at least
