Input wanted...

I'm gettin a custom license plate Frame (not the license plate its self) for my car. I want it to say something along the lines of "I paid for this, not my parents", but more creative... please give me inputs on ways to word it... thanks!

not sure why you feel the need to make the statement... but since you do, why not just "My Gift to Me"

I saw an M45 the other day with a guy in his late 20's or early 30's driving it, the liscence plate read... WAZNT EZ ... for some reason it still stands out in my mind. You can do something similar for the frame I guess.

Because I'm 20, and I want it to be clear that I'm not one of those who just gets any car they want from their parents, that I actually, unlike many others my age and younger driving nice cars, actually am WORKING for this car.

My original statement was intended to indicate that to me it doesnt really matter how old/young you are... but apparently it matters to you. In life, stature speaks for itself; you should let your car ownership do the same. However, since you feel the need to broadcast your age and ownership of the car I offered my input. But honestly I think it cheapens your efforts to draw attention the fact that you bought it. Just continue progressing and let your efforts and success make your statement.
