Front rotors & Break Pad problem

I have 2004 G35 with 27,000 mileage now. When I got maintenance service one week ago, I checked Front Rotors & Break pad since I felt brake was not working well. Jim Coleman Infiniti said FRONT ROTORS ARE A BIT WARPED, PADS ARE AT 35% and service guy asked me to pay $650 to replace them. As I check with Infiniti customer service, special break maintenance program was added to 2003/04 G35 to replace them for free. I also found CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT regarding of this problem. Does anyone know whether it is affirmed? I couldn't find it is filed on law case though. BTW, Jim Coleman Infiniti told me they are going to replace them for me for free WHEN BREAK PADS ARE AT 0%. Does it make sense? No one can agree with this, I guess. When break pads are totally worn out, if there is any accident due to break while on the way to go to dealershop to replace, who is going to be responsible? I checked with customer service representative regarding of %, but she said she has no idea about % due to technical problem and recommend me to stop by another dealershop. Does anyone know the standard % to replace FRONT ROTORS & BREAK PADS not being charged since it is under warranty? or Could you guys let me know which dealershop is the best in northern virginia? also, let me know where is the appropriate to file complaint about Jim Colemann dealershop's service? I was really upset by one service guy who shout me out to enforce me to drive the car until break pads are at 0%. I'd like to know phone number, email address that can directly impact him. If anyone let me know it, It would be appreciated.

the 03 and 04 non brembo brakes for the sedan and coupe came with a 3yr 36,000 mile warranty, which ever comes first. That includes rotors and pads. Find out when the car was originally purchased and if it hasn't been 3 years yet, then don't let them jack you over. But, I would call Infiniti consumer affairs and see if it only applies to the original owner. Hope this helps.

The brake warranty should cover the replacement, speak with the service manager and bring a copy of the brake warranty.

Go to another dealership, I have never heard of that BS before. That service writer does not have a clue. I work at Inskip Infinit and we replace pads and rotors all the time as long as it's under 36,000 miles or 3 yrs. I have never heard of replacing them when they are at 0%.

Some dealerships (as i have learned) will do or say anything to get out of doing the work simply cuz they are lazy motherfers or just don't know jack and dont want to have to cover the cost of replacing them.

horrible dealer...call Infiniiti and let them know, they might even reimburse you. Infiniti has a minimum thickness the pad has to be before free replacement.

Concerning the warranty, just go to another dealer, you wont want dealership like this to touch your car... you dunno what they will do..
dealership like this usually dun care shxt abt their customers' ride

Really!

I live 5 minutes away from Jim Coleman, but I will not have service done there. Lousy service, pushy sales tactics. They do not represent Infiniti very well IMHO.
