Bose display auto-scroll

I might have missed this - is there a way to make the Bose display auto scroll whatever it is showing? It's very annoying to have to hit the "Disp" button to see what's being played (mp3/sat/etc.).

How 'bout shuffle? Is there any random or shuffle function in MP3 or CD? I can't seem to find one.
