How many of you like to just keep your G35 factory?

The mods that I see in this forum are amazing, and you all have my full respect, but for some reason I just like to keep mine clean & factory. With the exception of a tint job and wood dash kit. When I think about it that is how I have always been with my cars.

Anyone else think like this?

Oh and yes I'm 38 but I still thought the same way when I was 22 with a brand new Nissan 240X.

I'd like to hear you thoughts as long as they are worth hearing.

I know that some compromises had to be made so the car could be mass produced for various possible customers.....so I figure a little tasteful modding should bring the car to what OEM should be

Ttrank, you've gotta a great lookin' sedan. I'm impressed.

I started out small. Get an intake and clear corners. Then I heard about a subtle exhaust (Fujitsubo that's only 7db) and I thought, sure, why not. After I had it installed, I was bitten. When your engine starts to purr, that noise is sooo intoxicating. Then you get headers, y-pipe, mrev and you try to figure out how to install more stuff so that the wifey doesn't know It becomes your new mistress (or girlfriend) who you begin to shower with gifts so she treats you right and never talks back.

Help me, I'm sick

TTRank that is one sweet ride and yes it is still very clean.

Re-thinking what I wrote to start this thread I guess the one mod that I would make is to add the HIDs & Clear Corners because I'm not crazy about the headlights as they are on my 2003 G35 which is one of the early models.

I can understand how the bug could bite you too.

Gammawolf you do need help, but then again don't we all? Your discription was right on point as I'm that way about my other toys besides my car.

If the G were ine the only mods I would do are the z-tube, lower, and maybe 19" OEM coupe wheels. Other than that everything would stay stock. I'm a big fan of keeping cars clean and looking OEMish. Only mod on the G currently are the clear corners.

I think the factory look is boring. Nothing sets the G off better than a nice pair of wheels, and some clean body modifications. JMO.
