That's exactly what I was gonna say. I don't understand why some people just waste money ... AND resources. If everyone changed their oil twice as often as they should, it would double the need for motor oil and the cost would go up accordingly. Found out the facts before wasting time, money and resources ... please !!

Wow... all those filters look good...
It'd be nice to get a real comparison noting how each filter works and wear...

I go for the Nissan 9E000 filter. Same mount size and construction as OEM, but a bit bigger. It's used for the QX56. Get 'em at any Nissan or Infiniti dealer.

Well if your not well informed on the subject you just believe what Jiffy Lube tells you. I used to change mobile 1 out every 3k then found out that a true synthetic oils are still clean and showing little engine wear after 7,500 miles with used oil anaylisis showing the oil can got to 10k . You can get mobile 1 Extended performance which is guaranteed for 15,000 miles! My friend runs this in his 06 silverado with no problems at all.

I would also suggest german Castrol syntec 0w-30 (autozone only) Its a much better oil then mobile 1 (thicker). Alot of Used oil anaylsis I have seen on the 350z/G35 with mobile 1 5w-30 show high lead content. Mobile 1 5w-30gets really thin close to a 20 weight and German Castrol Syntec is close to 40w. Check out this om german castrol syntec report, the oil was run for 7,100... the oil can go 10k no problem.

here is one on a 350z using Castrol syntec 5w-30 (usa made), its runs a bit thinner then the German Castrol 0w-30 and isnt a true synthetic (made from a differnt base stock) but you can get a 5 quart jug of this stuff at walmart for $20.
