Question on Kickplates

Need a little help here... I noticed the other day that the driver's side kickplate looks like its coming apart. Don't have pictures, but it basically looks like there's a sticker over top of a metal/plastic plate. The sticker piece is seperating from the plate at one end. Anybody replaced their kickplates or know how easy it is to fix? Is the sticker/plastic piece just a protection, with the real logos underneath? Oh, and before someone mentions it, I'm not interested in replacing it with the Skyline plates.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, they come with a strip of palstic over it for protection. Just peel it off.

To keep it from getting scuffed up you can replace the factory film with some 3M tape, the same stuff ClearBras are made of.

Nah, it's clear not blue. I asked because it's hard to tell if the Infiniti logo is on the plastic film or on the plate beneath, and I didn't want to remove the film and ruin the appearance. fortified - Thanks for the tip on the 3M stuff. Can you pick that up at your average auto parts store or do I have to order it somewhere? Does it come in strips wide enough to cover the kickplate in one piece, or will I have to stitch it on?

Thanks guys, appreciate the info.
