AT in the US G35 same as japan's V35?

Does any one know if theres any difference between the two? Transmission wise…. Specially the automatic versions. Does the g35 have the cvt AT awell? How come I haven’t seen any gt8 (8 speed auto) versions? I live in Australia btw and we get the Japanese imports….. I have tried to search on this forum, couldn’t find any answer….any help would be appreciated…thank you!

hmmm is your transmission the CVT?

or is it the traditional automatic trans?

the cvt comes in 6 speed or 5 also i cant remember not just the 8 speed... (in the m mode that is)

Maxima in the USA features a CVT auto tranny. But I don't think Nissan has developed a RWD CVT yet.

If Nissan AU is showing THIS pic as the engine I don't think it's RWD. That is a FWD intake manifold. I could be wrong

No such thing. Mercedes has 7 speed transmission since last year model and Lexus said it will have world's first 8 speed soon. Not Nissan/Infiniti. Not anytime soon.
