I've seen speculation that an upcoming G35 might have a 3.7 liter engine.

Just thinking that, with the new advertising this year from Infiniti, that they may be preparing for that.

Note, they aren't advertising the G35 anymore. It is the G. So, if they were advertising G35, they would have to change it at that point anyway.

In the past when they changed, like from I30 to I35, it wasn't such a popular car. With the M, they have advertised it as the M since the new version came out a few years ago since there were both 3.5 and 4.5 liter versions anyway.

Also, when the G35 came out, there wasn't a G35X, which there is now.

I also wonder whether, with the G being the low end of the lineup now, and the competition like Lexus having a 2.5 liter version, whether Infiniti might consider coming out with a cheaper version so they can list under $30K again that has a better price edge over the IS250.
