How to get better MPG

What modifications are needed to get better mpg?
So far, I have driven about 185 miles on a half tank.

Is it possible to get 30+mpg out of this car?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Not to Flame but if you brought this car for MPG you brought the wrong car. This is a sports car/sport sedan. Honestly it may be possible to get 30+ on the Highway. I get about 27.

I bought it to be my 2nd daily driver. I am just used to 48+ mpg on the other car. I always here people mod their cars for better mileage, etc.
I was just curious.
It's OK to flame

my low fuel light comes on around 230 miles so I think your doing well at 185 at 1/2 tank. These cars are not known for their fuel economy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm

Sarcasm is sneering, jesting, or mocking a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony intended to insult or wound[1] -- stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using "that's amazing" to mean "that's awful". It is used in a humorous manner, often harshly, and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words. Use of sarcasm is sometimes viewed as an expression of concealed anger[2].
