changing INFINITI to SKYLINE???

i think you should do what you want... its not trying to hard its just badging it it takes 2 seconds... the name skyline is way cooler then G35 IMO and it is a skyline there is no differance besides right and left hand drive so its up too you.... its not like you are a poser.... it is actually a skyline its nothing like putting a BMW sign on a civic!
To me its misbadging... check the VIN... its says Infiniti G35... its an Infiniti G35
I used to have a Chevy Cavalier... which in Japan, Toyota also makes the Cavalier except its RHD with some other little minor changes. You're telling me they guys over here in the US who went nuts and slapped Toyota Cavalier badges on their Chevys weren't misbadging their cars? Same concept as this.

Just want to say if you are considering putting on a skyline badge take them all off first. Have an Black 06 sedan, removed the badging and her *** looks much much cleaner, Left the center infiniti badge though, no one know what it is now though... I don't think a G35 sedan is that hard to identify?

I can't believe its 2009 and we're still arguing over the this.
In case some of you still don't know, the only reason why Acura/Lexus/Infiniti exists is because most Americans are ignorant and would NEVER buy a Honda NSX, Toyota Aristo, or Nissan Skyline. Because Honda/Toyota/Nissan badges are somehow inferior.
It's just a god damn marketing scheme, same car, same chassis, same everything (RHD, KM/H, etc are due to localization/regulation issues), different name.
The example i always use:
Just think of our cars as an Asian fob chick. She was born in Japan and her original Japanese name was SKYLINE.
When she immigrated to America, she adopted an Americanized name, G35. Either way, both are still her names.
