The real reason people do this is not because it's a Skyline in Japan, they do it because "Skyline" sounds better. Plain and simple.

It's a "look at me, I'm trying to be cool or different" mod.

I'm considering re-badging myself....writing 9" on my wee-wee with a magic marker and seeing if my wife is more impressed.

Sorry, off topic but I couldn't resist.

I remember way back when this mod used to be cool. How times have changed.

I think I dislike it most when people put the 350gt and Skyline badges, but not the Nissan Hamburger. They just leave it blank, like it fell off or something. How anybody can think it looks good is beyond me.

I agree with what someone earlier. It's fine to put skyline on your car....hell even a GTR badge if you want. Just make sure your car has the mods and power to back up what it's badged at. I know I'm not putting skyline on until I have 400rwhp atleast. Still considering GTR (but only at 600+rwhp) when it can back up the badge.

lol, you guys do know that the infinity brand is only a USA thing so they can have a more expensive option to sell a nissan and to create more sales to the nissan brand, since the g35 is really a skyline any were else in the world besides the U.S. and if im not mistaken the g35/skyline comes with the same horsepower.

If you like the look of the skyline badge just do it, after all is all about what you like and not what everyone else thinks or has to say about it.

I think you mean "Infiniti" and I believe it's called a "Skyline" only in Japan. In Canada and all over Europe, it's called a G##. And no, it's not okay to put a GT-R badge on the G coupe, even if you have the HP to back it up. LOL
