all rebagding ur car does is impress people who know nothing about our cars and **** off most of the people that do. honestly i'd rather see someone do something that's actually different or cool like putting the older Skyline's "GT" badge on their fender before just some half-@ssed JDM rebadge. why? because they're actually adding some personal style vs. adding badges for streetcred. yes, that's right... that's why 9/10 people go w/JDM badges on the trunk, because everybody knows that debadged look's cleaner anyway. people in Japan run USDM Infiniti badges because Infiniti is Nissan's prestige brand, so they're upgrading at least.

 

So your argment is that its fine for them to rebadge to Infiniti and its an upgrade but not cool that we rebadge to Skyline even tho its the same damn car? Lmao. This is the problem with ppl right here. And furthermore ppl rebadge or debadge bcuz THEY want too. I don't do anything to my car that I paid for & that I drive every day bcuz of what some OTHER GUY thinks abt it. So if you wanna follow and plz other men by letting what everyone else thinks is cool or clean that's on you but some of us actually just want to mod OUR car OUR way!! I cld care less if anyone thinks it "HOT" or "CLEAN" all that matters is what I think of it. So with that being said I'm done with this thread.

Lol, no. I imported this car because the v35, g35, whatever you want to call it, was never released in Australia. So yes I guess I am a little bit unique around here. the only markup on these cars are the ones with Infiniti badges and Im not completely against putting some on in the future. I'm no skyline or Nissan fan boy, I just really like this car.

 

i like the way the 350gt badge looks on IP colored g's. i think it's because the red badge matches the red tails. 350gt is for sedans right?

i've seen the skyline badge on a few cars and i think it looks good. i dunno if i wanna do it. when i was into the honda scene i had an integra gs-r sedan w/ jdm front clip and had a honda badge on the trunk. hood was carbon fiber so i didn't badge it but, plenty of acura owners change their badges to honda. i don't see what the big deal is. if you're into the car scene, especially if you're really into jdm, then you know what it's all about. you aren't trying to fool others. it's all about achieving that japanese look.

 

yeah, i don't really mind that people do it. what bothers me is when people try and act like they're so proper for it and we're all backwards for not.

 

i personally think the nissan badge is cooler lookin than the mt. fugi in the front so i figured i d go all the way...

i just have a problem when people start mixing and matchin badges...

yeah i did did it cause its my car and when people ask i tell them its an infiniti g35 without being a smart ***...

 

I hope I didn't come across as "THAT" guy. Lmao. I feel the same way. I don't care if ppl put the JDM badges on, leave it Infiniti badged or debadge altogether. My problem is the reverse of yours, I don't like ppl acting all proper bcuz they left it Infiniti and the JDM badges are backwards! I love this car period & I have mad respect for anyone that loves their car as much as I do & this seems to be the right place for that!!
